As the church (born-again Christians, not an institutional organization) goes, so goes the nation. It is we who the Saviour has commanded to be Salt and Light (Matthew 5:13-16). Therefore, if America is to be spared further (eventually calamitous) judgment, it is the CHRISTIANS in America who must repent – 2 Chronicles 7:14 is directed by God to His people (Christians).

November 4, 2008, Election Day, will once again reveal the heart of God’s people – will they vote out of FEAR (as Hezekiah was tempted to do when faced by the Assyrian hordes – see Isaiah chapters 30 & 31), or will they vote in FAITH (as Isaiah the prophet exhorted Hezekiah the king to do, and which he did, providing God the opportunity to glorify Himself with the destruction of the enemy, in one night, by one angel ! – see Isaiah chapter 37). Do Christians believe “with God all things are possible.” (Matt. 19:26) ?
