Thursday, December 13, 2007, Missionaries to the Pre-born Iowa was speaking up for the despised babies at the final Democrat Debates in Des Moines. Hillary Clinton had hundreds of signs plastered up and down the road, inside and outside Maytag Auditorium. The debates were hosted by National Public Radio.
Hundreds of people attended. Busloads of candidate cheerleaders and supporters were ferried in from Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa by their local unions. Large signs with the candidate’s names were brought in by flat bed semi trucks and erected by hoists. The candidates were not permitted to post signs in the median of the road. I stood in the median at the entrance of the debates with our “Hillary Holocaust” banner.
Though the candidates collectively had a thousand signs, it was our signs that were the most visible!
Our’s were the 1st signs people saw coming into the debates and the last signs they saw when they left. I thought I would stand there until I was ordered to leave. Because my banner was hand held I was permitted to stay! We had the whole median to ourselves!
When the debates began at 1:00 P.M. all of the candidate cheerleaders left, their signs came down and were taken away. We had the whole place to ourselves!
We took an hour lunch during the debate and returned after lunch to set up a whole new display. We caught all of the candidates, participants, supporters, media, and elected officials as they exited the auditorium. Over 200 media organizations covered the debates. We were interviewed and photographed by media organizations both foreign and domestic.
We told them that Hillary Clinton is the worst of the worst candidates. “Hillary is for unlimited, unrestricted tax-funded baby murder. We are making her the ‘whipping girl’ for aborticide,” I explained. “Hillary has never seen an abortion she didn’t like; she has never seen an abortion procedure to brutal to use on a little baby; she is OK with the abortions you see pictured here.” “We want to identify Hillary with the baby-murder that she loves. We want to make an example out of her to the rest of candidates. Let her loss of popularity be a lesson to the rest of them.”
Those who supported other candidates were friendly towards us. They also see Hillary as a threat.
On Friday we set up our displays at major intersections in Des Moines and in Coralville, Iowa. Each display was seen by thousands of people. Two 3’x 5′ aborted baby pictures, and a 19′ HILLARY HOLOCAUST banner, display was on the 6th Street overpass Bridge facing 5 lanes of east bound traffic. The 235 bypass is the main through fare through Des Moines. A single 3’x 5′ banner on a 11′ pole faced 3 lanes of traffic on one way 6th street and three lanes of traffic on the 6th Street off ramp! It was a highly visible display!
Later we set up the entrance of a large shopping mall, the busiest intersection in Coralville, Iowa. There were six lanes of slow heavy traffic in all directions.
Although we had some favorable responses, and we did do damage to Hillary’s popularity, we are saddened by the lack of empathy and compassion for these babies. Most Americans are unmoved by the plight of these children.
We have just 2 weeks remaining before the January 3rd, 2008 Iowa Caucus. God willing and weather permitting, we shall continue to go out on the streets of Iowa to expose Hillary’s and America’s love for baby-murder.
