Obama used a White House ceremony announcing the members of his new Economic Recovery Advisory Board to prod Congress to pass his economic stimulus package, a need he said was reinforced by the latest “devastating” job losses.

Volcker said the entire 15-member panel, effectively a team of rivals ranging from business executives to labor leaders and including experts from inside and outside of the new administration, shared Obama’s “sense of urgency.”

ABC News’ Rick Klein reports: The White House announced today that Tom Daschle has just withdrawn his nomination to become secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) and that President Obama has “reluctantly” accepted his decision.

“To be chosen by President Obama to run the Department of Health and Human Services and to lead the reform of America’s health-care system is one of the signal honors of an improbable career,” Daschle said in a statement. “But if 30 years of exposure to the challenges inherent in our system has taught me anything, it has taught me that this work will require a leader who can operate with the full faith of Congress and the American people, and without distraction.”

This is a devastating blow to the new administration. Daschle is and has been one of the president’s closest allies, and Obama said Monday that he was “absolutely” sticking with him as his choice at HHS.

He would have overseen a vast portfolio of health-care issues and agencies, including, of course, the signature issue of health-care reform and expansion.

And this marks the third top official whose nomination has been withdrawn because of unanticipated problems involving vetting their histories — a statement on the Obama operation’s apparent haste in getting top posts filled.

The proposed bill, which has received little mainstream media attention, appears designed to create the type of detention center that those concerned about use of the military in domestic affairs fear could be used as concentration camps for political dissidents, such as occurred in Nazi Germany.

Congress Seeks To Authorize & Legalize FEMA Camp Facilities

A new bill has been introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives called the National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645. This bill if passed into law will direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish national emergency centers otherwise known as FEMA camp facilities on military installations. This is an incredibly disturbing piece of legislation considering that the powers that be have already set in motion an agenda to setup a nationwide martial law apparatus through U.S. Northern Command and the Department of Homeland Security. Apparently, the fusion centers, militarized police, surveillance cameras and a domestic military command is not enough. Even though we already know that detention facilities are already in place, they now want to legalize the construction of FEMA camps on military installations using the ever popular excuse that the facilities are for the purposes of a national emergency. With the phony debt based economy getting worse and worse by the day, the possibility of civil unrest is becoming a greater threat to the establishment. One need only look at Iceland, Greece and other nations for what might happen in the United States next. With this in mind, it appears as if these so called national emergency centers will be used in a national emergency but only if the national emergency requires large groups of people to be rounded up and detained. If that isn’t the case, than why have these national emergency facilities built in military installations?

Let’s look through the various portions of the bill. Here is section 2 of the bill taken directly from the proposed legislation.

To paraphrase this nation’s Founding Fathers, Only a Virtuous People is Capable of Liberty; Only a Moral People is Capable of Freedom; Only a People which can Govern Themselves as Individuals, can practice Self-Government corporately. To apply the Scriptures above, America has gotten wicked rulers because we ourselves as a People are wicked: a nation that practices, tolerates, enshrines, advertises, supports financially both privately and publicly, and protects in law: child-murder-by-abortion, fornication, adultery, and sodomy, etc. Can such a nation survive ? NO. Those who commit, defend, fund, and legitimize immorality are NOT Patriots !

America’s only hope is Repentance, beginning with those who profess to be Christians.

Repent Church (2 Chronicles 7:14). Repent America (Psalm 9:17, Proverb 14:34).
